The Most Stupid Ganker of the Year – First half of 2025

The Most Stupid Ganker of the Year - First half of 2025(19/07-2025) – I haven’t been online for a while. First, life happens. Second, I was playing Guild Wars 2 (still am) and tried a few other games.

For several months, I was barely present. Just logging in and out to keep my accounts alive, doing a bit of business to earn gold and buy coins.

I dropped by already in May and last month, but this month marks a proper return. I’ll be splitting my time between WoW and GW2.

While watching my recordings, I noticed I killed quite a few gankers I didn’t even bother to register. Most of them were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Lucky me, unlucky them.

So yes, many kills are not registered. Yet.

I’ve cleaned up my “spies” list, removed lots of outdated names, and only kept the gankers I actually encountered recently.

Let’s say this list is for July, with some leftovers from January to now. We’ll see how things evolve.

All right. Do we have stupid gankers?

Yes. Yes, we do.

First, let us see a (very short) list of gankers killed in the last half a year.

Alliance: Alexander (1), Anus (2), Apothis (2), Atunescalvo (2), Bbqsix (17), Cajj (1), Dicey (2), Durmstrang (1), Dwarfian (1), Fantta (2), Getcandyx (2), Hala (9), Henduomaox (1), Kramb (7), Lesleymyhr (3), Lonelii (7), Madzx (2), Vilearts (3)

Horde: Amputer (2), Baxtab (101), Bortragon (23), Derzik (2), Fforienvovo (4), Griam (1), Hybrid (1), Jasonblaha (1), Orello (6), Sickboy (3), Youngbartle (2)

And now, let’s start with the bronze medal.

The most stupid ganker of the year

Third Place – Bronze Medal –  Vilearts

A rogue who thinks it’s hilarious to hide on the bridge in Freewind Post, Thousand Needles, and use “Distract” on players crossing to the elevator. The result? They lose control and fall to their death.

Such wit. Such comedic genius.

Of course, when my rogue meets him, things don’t go so well for him. Sure, he spits on me and throws a few laughs, but ultimately, he ends up dead. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about /lol or /spit. It’s the universal mating call of the idiot.

Second place – Silver Medal – Getcandyx

A human mage. Started his noble ganking career in Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra. Didn’t work out. Moved on to Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord.

Unfortunately for him, I have some ladies defending the place. One of them is my shadow/discipline priest, Belonara. She crushed him. Twice. Effortlessly. The guy’s a walking tutorial on how not to PvP.

Since then, he’s been fleeing on sight. So I couldn’t kill him again. But then, he couldn’t gank either, so everything is fine on my end. He seemed really proud of running away, probably after memorising chapter one of “Loser Ganking 101” (see my article on that if you need a laugh).

He even tried whispering me. Too bad I use an add-on that blocks whispers from anyone outside my friend or guild list. So he sent me a mail in-game, which I deleted without reading. I already know what it said. They all write the same thing. You’re too dumb. You can’t catch me. I killed you a million times. Blah blah blah.

Reality check: current score is 2 – 0. That’s all that matters.

Honourable mentions

I haven’t been online much, so not many, but a few still deserve a mention.

Bbqsix, death knight. I killed him back when he was Horde, ganking Alliance. Then I killed him again after he switched to Alliance. The result stayed the same. He never got me once. I’ve beaten him with my rogue, death knight, paladin. The only one who hasn’t humiliated him yet is my level 19 twink.

Now, like most gankers, when he sees me, he runs. The only time he dares to fight is when he has a friend to help him do a 2 vs 1. And even that doesn’t work. Gankers are a special kind of dumb. Strategy isn’t in their vocabulary.

Bbqsix vs me: 17 – 0. Even with his boyfriend lending a hand.

Madzx, rogue. I suspect he might be the same person as Corpselord, a Horde death knight. A liar, but I can’t prove it… Yet.

Same old pattern. Hala, a druid, was ganking in Freewind Post. I killed her repeatedly. Then Madzx shows up to help. While I was dealing with Hala, he backstabbed me. I tried to escape, having already used most cooldowns, but he followed. No way out.

So I resisted. And I killed him too. I must admit, it was a very close call.

Not the first 2 vs 1 I win. Definitely not the last.

Lesleymyhr, rogue. Was ganking in Warsong Hold. I killed him with my rogue, Tsirah. Then surprise, surprise, he called a friend. A dwarf paladin. I hate dwarves… Almost as much as I hate male gnomes.

I saw it coming. No idea what gave it away. Maybe the complete lack of originality? But I decided to kill him one more time before his little dwarf buddy could get involved.

I succeeded.

Then I switched to my paladin and took them both in 2 vs 1. This dwarf-paladin was called “Dwarfian”! Honestly! It was with great pleasure I took care of him!

First place: Fantta and Cajj

Not sure if they’re the same person, or if Cajj is the new name of Bebsiicle after he switched back from Horde, or just another flavour of failure.

He’s slightly better than Fantta, which really says a lot. If it’s Bebsiicle, then my score is 3 – 0  and  1 – 0 against Cajj in Sylnera’s favor.

For Fantta, I don’t have updated stats due to an add-on crash, but the only time he ever got a kill was two years ago, 28 July 2023. And that was, of course, a 2 vs 1.

Fantta is your textbook loser. He only fights when he’s got backup, and even then, he usually loses. He mostly kills low levels, AFK players, or undergeared level 80s. What a legend!

He flees when I attack. Tries whispering me with some low-level death knight. Even sent a group invite while I was fighting. As if I’d group with a level 55 random. The guy is so dumb he’d dig a pond with a shovel to catch fish.

Gold medal. Without a doubt. I’ve rarely seen someone that stupid.

That’s it for now. I’ll probably be back in a few months with more.

Take care and see you next time.

And remember: ganking is for losers. (Scorpyo)
