Officer Rules

Officers hold Rank 3 (the highest) or Rank 4.

Officers are not ordinary members of the guild.

Yes, you get certain rights, but you pay for them… You have certain responsibilities, too, which we will expect from officers.

Oh, and by the way…

Just like in Star Trek the captain (Guild Master) will listen to advice from officers, but it’s the GM who has the last word.

Rank 4 Officers

You’ve shown that you have more willingness to participate in the guild community than the ordinary members. You’re active in chat (this doesn’t mean that you have to chat all the time, of course), but that you at least read what’s going on.

This is your duty, because you also have to step in and help, if guild members have questions, or if they are breaking the rules.

If you demote somebody, you have to leave an officer’s note to that character, so we’ll know what happened.

You should stay updated about what’s happening in the guild. Sometimes your opinion is needed about something. Sometimes we will want your vote. You can stay updated by reading the Guild Message of the Day, and or by reading Guild News here on the blog.

Rank 3 Officers

If you want to hold Rank 3, you must be willing to be online daily or close to…

You should stay updated about what’s happening in the guild. Sometimes your opinion is needed about something. Sometimes we will want your vote. You can stay updated by reading the Guild Message of the Day, and or by reading Guild News here on the blog.

You must participate in guild chat, be helpful, be polite (of course), be responsible.

You’re here to help the Guild Master and Number One.

In their absence, you should be able to take action if somebody is breaking the guild rules.

You both have the right and duty to demote those members and to add an officer’s note to that person so we’ll know what happened.
